GIVE BACK, GET BACK EVENT, ROMP N' ROLL WILLOW GROVE
It's time for our annual Give Back/Get Back charity event at Romp n' Roll Willow Grove!
Bring a donation to one of our four participating charities (listed below) to Romp n' Roll of Willow Grove on Sunday, December 12, 2010 from 10am - 4pm and get a day of fun activities, gym exploration and food! This event was created to begin to teach young children the value and importance of giving to those less fortunate.
This year we are thrilled to have Pajama Program, Laurel House, Philabundance and Kisses for Kyle Foundation as our participating charities! Only one item per child is required for entrance into this event, however we ask that you try to spend at least $10 per child attending.
The wishlist for each of the charities is below.
Pajama Program - NEW children's pajamas (any sizes acceptable) and NEW children's books
Laurel House - Wal-Mart and Target gift cards, grocery gift cards: Giant, Genuardi's, Shop Rite, Acme, Amazon.com gift cards, gas cards, tampons (all-sizes), paper towels, toilet paper (single-ply, septic safe), cleaning supplies, all purpose cleaner, clorox, clorox wipes, kitchen trash bags, large 30-gallon trash bags, ziploc "big bags" for storage (size XL & XXL), vacuum cleaners, over the counter medications (for adults & children), deodorant, body lotion, hair styling products, African American hair care products, combs/brushes, Q-tips, women's underwear (new, size 5,6,7,8), women's socks (new), women's pajamas (new, fall/winter, all sizes, but especially XL & larger), winter coats (new, XL & larger), diapers (size 4,5,6) and pull-ups, bed linens and bedding (new)
Philabundance - Any non-perishable food items. Products in boxes, cans or plastic bottles and that do not have to be refrigerated. Bread and baked goods are not suitable because of their short shelf life. Items should be recently purchased and in good condition. High priority items: canned/shelf-stable tuna, macaroni & cheese, canned pasta, canned beef stew, canned chili, creamy peanut butter, jelly, canned green beans, canned corn, canned fruit, breakfast cereal, and hot cereal.
Kisses for Kyle Foundation - Kisses for Kyle is holding it's annual Wish List program. As the list is changing both as new wishes are added and more wishes are fulfilled each day, please head to http://kissesforkyle.org/wishlist2010.htm for the most updated list. Wishes for Kisses for Kyle: Wrapping supplies including gift wrap, gift bags, scotch tape, gift tags, and bows.
