I wanted to thank you again for providing the best party for my daughter. Micah and Lisa did an excellent job of packing in an hour and a half of fun for all. The response from the other children and parents has been exceptional. At first I was hesitant of a child turning six being a little too old to have a party at Romp 'n Roll. Six was a perfect age for girls and boys. Now I hope that we can have her seven year old party there. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for all you did to make Will's Birthday party so fun. All the kids had a great time and we had several parents say what a great party it was and how relaxing it was for them to be able to sit back and watch. You made it so easy for us as you did everything. I kept thinking there was something I needed to do and then I realized you had already done it! Thank you again for a wonderful party and making Will's 4th birthday such a success. You all are GREAT!

We all had a great time at Gabe's birthday on Sunday! The staff were super helpful and did a great time leading the children. Thank you so much, Micah, for organizing it and, Hillary, for leading us in the fun. I heard a lot of wonderful comments from other parents as well!

William was born at just 23 weeks gestation by the amazing staff at the UVA medical center. He weighed 15 ounces and measured 7 inches. From birth he was given a less than 4% chance of living.
After a huge miracle and a stay of 5 months in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) at UVA he finally came home. He has been diagnosed with mild diplegic cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, apraxia and brown's syndrome to the right eye, seizure disorders, asthma, bronchial pulmonary displasia, chronic lung disease, sleep apnea and global developmental delays.
Last summer, at the Center for Pediatric Therapies in Lynchburg, another mother mentioned Romp n' Roll to me. I looked into the program on the internet and discussed it with my son's developmental neurologist and therapists. They all agreed that the classes there would definitely help my son's delayed abilities and social skills. I called Romp n' Roll to talk to them about my son and his disabilities. I spoke with Micah on the phone and explained that even though he is 3 he did not walk, spoke very little and had major separation and social anxiety issues. She assured me that they were okay with that and welcomed him aboard. So in October of 2008, I signed him up for the Tumble Tunes class.
OK, so the first class was a major bust. He cried the entire time!!! But I didn't let it unnerve me. Being autistic my son had a very, very hard time adjusting to new things including environment and new adults and especially separating from me. I just spent the hour sitting in the waiting area out of his sight, and listened.
The next week, wouldn't you know it, more of the same but for half the time. By the third week even less crying and by week 4 no crying at all!!!! Every week I just would sit in the waiting area and listen, being sure he didn't see me. That way he could learn that the environment and the people there were all safe and fun to interact with. WITHOUT me being there to comfort him.
Today, after 6 months, I am proud to say that due in part to Romp n' Roll and its dedicated staff William now: Socializes with other children!!!! Takes part in group activities!!!! Is always excited to be there and is more than willing to leave me to go play!!!!!! But most of all, something myself, my family, his doctors and therapists have all been waiting for........HE WALKS!!!!!
So that is William's story and in closing just let me add that ANY parent that has a child with developmental delays or falls in the autism spectrum...Think about enrolling them at Romp n' Roll. Speak to the staff about your child. Make then aware of your child's special needs. Believe me they will accommodate your child there. To this day they always have a second teacher present in my son's class to assist him to be able to interact with the gym and the other children. Romp n' Roll, in combination with professional therapy, has really helped my son grow not only developmentally but socially. Which for any parent with an autistic child can say is very important.
Thanks and .........COME OUT ROMPY!!!! LET'S GET READY FOR SOME FUN!!!!!

I had to tell you that Alex is STILL talking about Romp n' Roll. He pretends that he is Ms. Micah and Evangeline is one of his "children" that he has to teach music and art to. He even does story time for her.
Thank you,
Kathy
Thank you so much for all you did to make Kaylee's birthday party such a huge event. I know she had a blast and it looked like everyone else, young and old, had a great time too. We really appreciated the time we got to spend watching her run, play, and bounce. It was a huge relief not to have to do all the little stuff. Thank you for being so wonderful. I know Kaylee was the happiest girl in the world on Sunday! :-)

Thank you so much for all you did to help make this summer special for Laura Grace at Romp n' Roll's Summer Camp. The atmosphere you and your team of awesome instructors have created fostered a love for learning, tumbling, playing and socializing in Laura Grace. Because of the growth I have seen in her, as a result of Romp n' Roll, I feel more prepared to enroll her in school.
You gave her an environment in which she could thrive and feel safe; you gave her a chance to meet new friends and to play, play, play! You gave her a group of trustworthy , kind, and loving teachers who love her; and, you gave me a chance to breathe. :-) For all of this, I am eternally grateful.
