A Great Gift for Grandparents
National Grandparents Day is celebrated on the first Sunday after Labor Day in September. And now is the perfect time to start thinking about a wonderful gift for your child’s grandparents.
As your child’s parent you have experienced the immense pleasure and pride that comes with watching him learn new skills, conquer new challenges, and simply have a whole lot of fun in his Romp n’ Roll classes. And you have experienced the thrill and satisfaction that comes with being an occasional partner in his activities as well as an appreciative observer.
Regrettably, your child’s grandparents may only have had the opportunity to experience these things second hand. And while they are smiling as you and your child tell tales of exciting adventures and amazing accomplishments at Romp n’ Roll, just imagine the grin spreading from ear to ear if they have the chance to actually be there themselves.
So consider signing up your child for an additional fall class in which he will be accompanied by Grandma and/or Grandpa instead of you. You will be giving Grandma and/or Grandpa a gift they will get to enjoy enormously for several weeks, and you will be enhancing relationships and creating memories that both the grandparents and your child will cherish for many years to come.
And don’t forget about yourself. It is often the case that parents just don’t have the time and energy to participate with their child in as many Romp n’ Roll classes as they would like. By giving Grandma and/or Grandpa the opportunity to pitch hit for you, your child gets to take maximum advantage of all that Romp n’ Roll has to offer, and you get a chance to get some shopping done, run some errands, or simply relax.
