Working Moms vs. Stay at Home Moms
I really hate it when young children are labeled. And I am equally annoyed when Moms are labeled. What is a “Working Mother”? What is a “Stay at Home Mother”? Every mother I have ever seen has been working her butt off all the time. And home is where the heart is, and every mother I have ever seen has had her heart with her children at all times.
Consequently, when I am asked if Romp n’ Roll is designed to give Stay at Home Moms something special to do with their kids or if it is designed to give Working Moms an opportunity to spend quality time with their kids, my answer is “yes.” As far as Romp n’ Roll is concerned, there is no one or the other, there is only both.
A lot of thought and effort goes into creating Romp n’ Roll classes so that every child can experience optimal progress according to her own unique rate and pattern of development and according to her own preferred learning style. And an equal amount of thought and effort goes into scheduling and conducting those classes so that every mother can experience the pride and joy of participating in her child’s progress according to her own particular orientation and timetable.
So don’t allow anyone to put you into a pigeonhole. And don’t allow a meaningless label to shape your perception of Romp n’ Roll. Our classes, staff, and schedule ensure that everyone, parent or child, can address her priorities and make the most of her potential in the most appropriate and convenient manner possible.
