Making Saturday Night Special
There is no doubt that having a regular “date night” is highly beneficial for parents who need ample opportunities to relate to each other strictly as a couple. So occasionally going out to dinner and a movie on a Saturday night certainly is a good idea.
Unfortunately, their little one may not be so thrilled about it. No matter how much family fun she gets to experience at other times, this situation can leave her feeling left out. She may become sad and even resentful as she watches her parents go out to have a good time while she gets stuck behind at home with a babysitter.
That is why I love Kid’s Night Out at Romp n’ Roll because it makes Saturday night special for everyone. It is hard to feel down in the dumps and discarded when you are enjoying a few hours of play with your peers and a delicious pizza. In fact, there is a good chance the child may end up concerned that her parents are envious of her.
